We repost this article with appreciation from Giving and Generosity E-News, produced by Stewardship and Development at the Unitarian Universalist Association.-Ed.

It’s Commencement season again, and we send a hearty congratulations to our graduates! This year we also lift up the words of Unitarian Universalist commencement speakers, including Rev. Peter Morales, Melissa Harris-Perry and Abigail Washburn.

UUA president, the Rev. Peter Morales spoke at the Meadville Lombard Theological School. Read his reflections on the President’s blog. Melissa Harris-Perry, an MSNBC host, Tulane professor, author, and “Unitarian Universalist from the crib,” gave the commencement address at Wellesley College. Watch the video on YouTube! And Abigail Washburn, a bluegrass musician, 2012 TED Fellow, and another lifelong UU, gave the commencement address at Colorado College. Video and transcripts are available on their website.

Our congratulations again to all new graduates!
