Bringing Relief to New Orleans

The Church of the Larger Fellowship (CLF), along with the Center for Ethical Living & Social Justice Renewal (CELSJR), is organizing a New Orleans relief effort, January 17 – 21, 2013 (Martin Luther King weekend).

Here is what Rev. Meg Riley has to say about the opportunity:

The Center for Ethical Living and Social Justice Renewal is a catalyst in the New Orleans and Gulf Coast region for nurturing a sustainable, equitable and inclusive community by promoting social, racial and economic justice.  Volunteers will work directly with partners and clients of the Center.  Volunteers should come prepared to engage in manual labor, to listen, and to bear witness.

Visit the Church of the Larger Fellowship website for more information.
