Witness Against Political Stigmatization

Witness_4_Young_FamiliesThis week the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health (NLIRH) with the Strong Families Young Parents Cohort (YPC) is spearheading the move to destigmatize young families and turn the national discourse on youth pregnancy from one of shame to one of love and support for young parents. You can witness against a discourse that is insensitive, harmful, and distracts from the real needs of young people, including those who are pregnant and parenting by taking the following actions:

 

Sign your organization onto this letter to Congress, calling for fair employment, educational opportunities, healthcare, housing, and childcare for all people, including pregnant and parenting youth. Click the link to read and sign the letter.
