Posted by Kayla Parker // August 28th 2012 // Guides and Tools, On Campus // 4 comments

Come get your campus ministry start-up kits! Are you part of an emerging or existing campus ministry group and hoping for some flashy giveaways for tabling events or some materials for meetings?

Have we got the kit for you!

What is in this kit?

How do you get one?

  1. Send an email to youngadults@uua.org and ya-cm@uua.org
  2. Title the subject of the email “Campus Ministry Kit Request”
  3. Include the mailing address that the kit should be sent to
    1. This should be addressed to an individual, even if going to a congregation (wouldn’t want it to be left in an office!)
    2. Please note the dates that this address is valid for (ie, permanent for congregation; Sept. 2012-May 2013 for student dorm)
  4. Include the name of your campus ministry group, college and congregation (if applicable)
  5. Include a list of the items above that you would like to receive
    1. We will send one of each item requested, with the exception of stickers, which will be in sections of ~20

Wishing you could be part of this fulfilling ministry and get some awesome materials? Email Kayla at ya-cm@uua.org to learn more.

    Kayla,

I just emailed you to get the kit. I am most excited about getting the large vinyl banner! Thank you for making this available!

At the University of Illinois Quad Day last Sunday, we passed out 3000 invitations to our UUYAG groups that meet Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Last night 8 new folks joined us for a free dinner and the first meeting of the semester. Two volunteered to join our YAG leadership team. I am looking forward to the first meeting of the Wednesday night UUYAG tonight! .

Great to hear Channing-Murray is having a great start to the 2012-2013 academic year. Thanks for the update, Doug!

It appears there is no cost for these, true?

We are trying to strengthen campus Ministry at the University of Vermont. The student activities fair is in two days; too late to request any of this for that event, but maybe when we get a little more structure in place, we’ll request some materials.

    thanks!

      Martha – this is true!

We are so very glad to hear that this is happening at UVM! I will plan on following up with you via email to talk more about this and see how I may be of assistance.

      Best,
      Kayla
