Join the inaugural Continental Gathering of Unitarian Universalist Seminarians, the first assembly of its kind. The gathering will take place October 11-13 in historic Boston, and is open to all UU seminarians, interns, etc. who have not yet been ordained.

Featuring: A chance to connect with seminarians from across the U.S. and Canada; guest speaker UU theologian Thandeka; discussion of the future of Unitarian Universalism and our place in it; connecting, networking, and collegiality; food, fun, and much more!

 

Please register before September 20th if you want help finding housing. Registration closes October 3rd.

    I am so excited to hear this is happening! What a wonderful initiative; I thank everyone who is making it possible. I also hope that “UU Seminarians” will be understood as inclusively as possible. I have known many UU seminarians who do not intend to be ordained – they intend to work as lay ministers, chaplains, spiritual directors, community organizers, nonprofit leaders, religious educators, and more, and ordination may not be part of that path. Many others change their minds during or after seminary about what their path (including ordination) may be.
